JUBALKATS TEDDY WINKED

  • Teddy is a Regional Winner and Supreme Grand Champion.
  • He was awarded Best Toyger Kitten AND Best Toyger Cat of the year in the South Central Region.
  • But we are most proud of him for his International Standing....THIRD Best Toyger World-Wide that year!
  • Take a look at the 4th and 5th images in Teddy's Gallery, the 4th is him at 6 months, and the 5th is him at 4 years. It is truly amazing how much Toygers can improve with age!

Teddy is just that... a great big, soft, snuggly teddy bear! If he doesn't get two kisses on the bridge of that broad nose in the morning, he bugs me until he gets them. This guy is a faithful lap kitty, helping me with all my computer work and purring, not whistling while we work.

In the third of Teddy's gallery pictures, Anthony Hutcherson, TICA's Bengal Chairman, holds Teddy at the TICA Regional Annual in Corpus Cristy, TX. Notice that Teddy's stripes cross over his back, having no "dorsal stripe," which runs as a stripe straight down the backbone from the base of the head to the tip of the tail. All tabby cats and many Toygers have dorsal strips. A tiger has no dorsal stripe. The Toyger breed standard call for this is "no dorsal stripe."  We continue to improve upon this trait in our bloodlines!

JUBALKATS JADE WINKED

  • Jade received the 2016 Award of Excellence as the Best Toyger of the Year in the South Central Region.
  • She also took "Best Cat" in an "All Breed" show ring at the Waco, TX South Central Regional Finals! I'm so proud of her!

Jade has a silky, dark striped, highly glittered coat that makes hugging so enjoyable. Her favorite spot is in my lap, or as you see, snuggling with my granddaughter! She is an excellent mom! True to her name, she has a beautiful "jade" green eyes!

DESIGNERSTRIPES JET

  • Jet is a Regional Winner Quadruple Grand Champion
  • Jet is also the 2016 2nd Best Toyger of the Year in the South Central Region

The first picture of a Toyger that I ever saw (and at that moment was hooked) was of Jet from Lake Mountain Toygers. How amazing is it that the first Toyger I laid eyes on is now a part of our cattery? I still marvel at how events took place!

Jet has distinctive dark striping on his thick, highly glittered coat. His hooded green eyes, broad nose, and strong chin all more than meet the Toyger breed standards. His "meow" is low and guttural, reminiscent of a tiger's growl. Best of all is his gentle and loving personality. He adores being cuddled and purrs loud and long.

JUBALKATZ JEWELS WINKED

  • Jewels recieved 2018 Awards of Excellence as the Second Best Toyger Kitten of the Year and Second Best Toyger Cat of the Year in the South Central Region

Our champion, Jewels, is a devoted friend and sleeping companion. She has brilliant gold "tiger" eyes, wide distinct, striping, and a glittered silky coat. Like others in our cattery, her stripes cross over her back without a "dorsal stripe" which typically runs down the backbone. A tiger has no dorsal stripe. I'm excited to be working on another "tiger trait" in my bloodlines.

ROCKET OF JUBALKATZ

  • Received the 2019 Award of Excellence as Best Toyger Kitten of the Year in the South Central Region
  • He did extremely well in his first show. The COVID-19 put a stop to our shows, but as soon as they resume, we are excited to get him in the show ring again!

Rocket, our newest boy, is Jet's son.  He has the darkest contrast of any of our Toygers.  We hope to bring out more blacks and oranges in his kittens when he starts his "daddy" career!

JUBALKATZ Jungle Jane Winked

  • Jane is a Quadruple Grand Champion and was the Best Toyger of the year in the Northwest Region in 2022. She has a highly glittered coat with intense color contrast. She has promises delightful kittens when she is old enough to be a mom. Hopefully, cat shows will start up again and she will get some time in the show ring first. I think she will be pleasing to the judges!
  • She loves to play fetch with her favorite toy; a pipe cleaner twisted through a plastic ball!

Jane is Teddy's daughter and inherited her emerald green eyes from her mother, Promise, of My Toyger Den.
